My circulation pumps are actually harder on the eyes then the wavebox. In fact the wavebox is hard to see next to the back overflow and black background. The wave was slightly higher being on the 2X2 panel not enough where I would leave it there. After playing around with the wavecontroller (with no overflow disturbing and tank water line low), I was able to get a 1'' wave (even with the wavebox next to the mega-overflow). I tested the wave box again with the entire circulation system off (sump pump included). Second, the cap on the underside has no instruction saying "remove" (so I did not remove). Something hard to do when wave box is hitting the rim and the recommend water-line is below water-line. First problem: the wavebox is more effective when the box is sitting few inch above the water line. I wish tunze would have included one small instruction regarding a cap install on the under-side of the wavebox. Is the vent on the top suppose to be slightly open? Note: I also changed the 20v chip to the 24v one. I messed around with the vent on top - may have increased the wave slightly. I have my water-line around the recommended line. Is there any tricks to getting a larger wave? I have the wavebox on the 2'x2' glass panel dead center. One thing I noticed about the new comline's is there is no vents on the top!! What's up with that? Also, there is a plastic (removable) cap towards the bottom (is this suppose to be removed?). It was truly amazing to see his tank thriving under these conditions. He had at least over a 1'' wave and the tunze was positioned on the back wall. I bought the tunze after seeing Tunze nano wavebox (which is rated less than the comline) performance on a 100 gallon tank. I have been playing around with it all day and read up on it forever but still no solid information.
